About GEDA
Refund Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026.
GEDA uses this policy to handle refund requests clearly and fairly. Website, software, and consulting services commonly incur professional work, staffing, documents, and third-party costs as soon as implementation is confirmed. GEDA therefore does not offer an unconditional 7-day or 14-day refund for a change of mind or subjective dissatisfaction.
If GEDA is responsible for a defect, we first work to correct it and will refund an appropriate amount when the defect cannot be corrected within a reasonable time. This policy does not exclude mandatory customer rights under applicable law.
1. Scope
This policy applies to payments made directly to GEDA for website, software, technical implementation, consulting, or support services. Products and services purchased directly from a third party remain subject to that provider’s policy.
2. Requests eligible for review
We review a request when reasonable documentation shows one of the following:
- GEDA charged the same amount twice or charged an amount inconsistent with the quotation, order, agreement, or payment confirmation.
- For a reason entirely attributable to GEDA, we did not provide a material agreed service and cannot begin or continue it within a reasonable time after discussion.
- A serious defect within GEDA’s scope makes the result unusable for its main purpose or materially different from confirmed criteria, and a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct it did not resolve the issue.
- A specific agreement or mandatory law otherwise requires a refund.
3. Remedy first
For a valid report, GEDA first attempts to correct the issue, repeat the affected work, or propose an equivalent remedy. If correction is not feasible, is not completed within a reasonable time, or no longer serves the agreed primary purpose, we consider a refund for the affected obligation. Service credit or another substitute is used only with the customer’s agreement.
4. Refund amount
- A full refund may apply when GEDA’s fault prevents the entire primary purpose and the customer has received no material usable value.
- A partial refund may apply to an undelivered or irreparable item when other items are complete or independently usable.
- A duplicate or incorrect charge is refunded for the exact overpaid amount.
Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, licenses, platform accounts, or service fees are non-refundable only when they were actually incurred, disclosed or approved, and the provider will not refund them. GEDA will provide reasonable reconciliation information on request.
5. Situations normally not eligible
- The customer changes their mind, business plan, budget, staffing, or need after confirming implementation.
- Subjective dissatisfaction with content or design that meets the approved scope, sample, criteria, or version.
- The customer delays or fails to provide required content, data, accounts, access, feedback, or approval.
- An issue results from unauthorized code, configuration, or data changes; use contrary to instructions; an unsupported environment; or a breach of the terms.
- An outage belongs to a domain, hosting, payment, app-store, social-network, or other provider outside GEDA’s control, unless GEDA accepted responsibility for the relevant selection, configuration, or integration.
- Work was completed within scope, accepted, or provides independent usable value.
- A request uses false information or invalid documents, conceals service use, or shows signs of policy abuse.
These exceptions do not apply where refusing a refund would violate mandatory legal rights.
6. How to request a review
Please contact us promptly after discovering the issue. We recommend doing so within seven days so that logs and the current state remain available; this recommendation does not remove any complaint or other right protected by law.
Email [email protected] or use the Contact page and include:
- Your name or business name, contact details, and quotation, agreement, or invoice reference.
- The payment amount and method.
- A description of the issue, when it occurred, and screenshots, video, links, or other material that helps reproduce it.
- Your preferred outcome: correction, repeat performance, or refund.
7. Review process
- GEDA acknowledges the request within three business days.
- The parties cooperate to identify the cause, impact, and opportunity to correct it. GEDA may request necessary information but will not request unrelated data.
- GEDA provides an expected outcome within seven business days after receiving complete information. For complex cases, we provide a progress update and revised timeframe.
- If approved, GEDA processes the refund and related document adjustments within 7–15 business days. Bank or payment-provider processing may take additional time.
8. Fraud prevention and fairness
GEDA may verify identity, transactions, technical logs, delivered scope, and related documents; pause a review while material inconsistencies are clarified; and reject fraudulent or abusive requests after explaining the reason. Verification is limited to what is reasonably necessary and is not intended to obstruct a legitimate request.
9. Agreements and applicable law
If a quotation or agreement gives the customer more favorable refund terms, those terms take priority. Nothing in this policy excludes GEDA’s responsibility or limits customer rights where the law does not permit it. The parties first seek a good-faith negotiated solution; otherwise, the customer may use dispute-resolution mechanisms available under Vietnamese law.
